Its important to have good quality suitable locks fitted to all entrance doors and windows

Remember to lock all doors and windows when you go out

Secure all entrances to your property/premises particularly around the back of your property/premises

Keep any out buildings (garage,shed) locked at all times

Fit security lighting around your property

Install a burglary alarm

Remember to let a neighbour or friend know if you are going away on holiday and don’t forget to cancel any deliveries you may normally have e.g. milk papers

There is never going to be 100% security of the home to stop burglaries from happening completely
